The idea for this blog sparked from a deep love for travel and an equally deep love for writing. While I might not have a gazillion stamps on my passport I have traveled some and have worked in the travel industry for over four years.
Living in Ireland felt like a warm, cozy hug that almost made me forget my roots in Jamaica—not to mention surviving the humidity face-off of Seoul vs. New Orleans (seriously, was I in a sauna or a city?).
As a self-proclaimed citizen of the world. I aim to share insider’s view of adventures with an unbiased and slightly sarcastic touch. Because let’s face it, travel isn’t always rainbows and butterflies. Just a FYI if you have no sense of direction at home you won’t just leave that character flaw at the airport and you don’t need to pack it with you. It will follow right along; a wrong turn in London or a missed subway stop in New York can attest to that. And don’t get me started on the labyrinthine streets of Edinburgh!
Oh, and let’s not forget the culinary escapades that turn me into a sobbing mess—like that burger in Wales that made me question my ethics while simultaneously deliciously betraying a “love pet cow.”
